Hi Gang...I'm Still Around

Hello to all my blog friends!  Remember me? I've been settling into Florida coastal life and loving every single moment of it.  It's beautiful here and so much to see.  Bruce and I are having fun every day.  Even when we are just sitting home.  Laughter is the key to enjoying life.

I thought I'd put up a link to an older Christmas story that is in two parts.  It's a true story from my family and it's the time of year I always think of it.  I'll post part 1 now and stay tuned for part 2.  I hope you enjoy it and I also hope you're all doing well.  Who knows....I might have to write a post or two soon.  I miss it.

My Memories of Putting Up a Christmas Tree was originally posted in 2010 and was a hit!  Enjoy!!

    1. I have been wondering what all my blog friends have been up to, so thought I'd put up a fun story. I still chuckle when I think of my brother.

  3. That didn't happen at our house during Christmas but, if you replace Christmas with camping, then that was us! LOL

  4. Hello, Bouncin' Barb! I don't know about you but here in the greater Tampa Bay area we're dreaming of a white Christmas! (Dream on, right?) It's great to hear from you and to know you're well and happy. Your 2010 post reminds us how all of our senses are stimulated at Christmas time, including the all important sense of smell. Nothing gets you in the spirit of the holidays faster than the pine scent of a freshly cut tree. I hope you'll be back soon with more, dear friend!

    1. Shady my friend...how are you! Having spent the majority of my life with white Christmases, I can honestly say I'm glad to be down in Florida! I will be heading to Tampa Bay area in the next few months to visit family. Clearwater Beach is always a stop for me when there. Beautiful. Great to hear from you.

  6. I'm so happy to see you. Don't you love Florida at this time of year? Cool nights and pleasant days. I might remember your story, but I'm not sure. Mentalpaws has me in a firm grasp and it has grabbed my memory, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

    Love,
    Janie
